High surface friction angle

The high friction angle of Teranap allows for the direct placement of soil covers on slopes of up to 3H/2V.

Of even more importance is the implications for safety both during installation and maintenance.  In simple terms, a slippery sloping surface is a major occupational health and safety risk on any work site, and the ease by which someone can exit up a slope can dramatically impact the risk of injury or even loss of life.

Even when wet, the high friction surface of Teranap can allow adults, children or animals to access and egress at all times.  The friction angle of a Teranap 331 BGM is more than double that of a 2.0mm HDPE membrane.

There are many reports of animals suffering terrible deaths trying to escape from plastic lined death traps, usually causing significant damage to the lining system in the process.
